We gathered for the last time this year.
It was a fun night of a shared meal, chocolate, prophetic words prompted through gifts, prayer, community and more chocolate 💃
We had the privilege of a visitor from Beth Kennedy’s ‘God is Good’ training. A beautiful heart who was visiting Melbourne from Brisbane.
She came with a gift for us Melbournites… a prophetic word of encouragement for our city. She shared it on the Verve Ministries Facebook page and in our Sitting at the Feet of the Father facebook group. She writes:
Sunday 4th December early before daybreak, I looked out of my hotel window as there was a lot of noise from Federation square for the Australia Argentina World Cup Soccer match. I saw the large crowds rushing to the square and tears came to my eyes as my heart was crying out for Melbourne. This city of Gold that God loves. I suddenly had the thought that these same crowds would turn to run to towards the sound of God released over this city. I had an inner excitement about the coming move of God where crowds would fill stadiums to hear the Good news and the curiosity for what is happening as supernatural events took place.
She also shared:
It is funny that Holy Spirit convicted me and asked me to look up my time stamp. … I have been waking at 4:44 each morning in the past week. On Sunday the crowd woke me earlier. Holy Spirit directed me to Isaiah 44:3-4 this morning. My prayer is for the prodigals to return home and this was Holy Spirit giving me the nudge that He will bring about the promises for our offspring to be like willows by waterways.
This word aligns with Beth’s word for Victoria. ‘Bride of Christ call forth her Gold’.
Melbourne is a ‘city of gold’. 🔥
The night was spent with laughter, discussions and focus forward into what 2023 might look like.
It was a great night, with amazing people 🙌
We meet again in February 2023.
