Jesus said:

And as ye go, preach, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” (KJV Matthew 10:7-8)

A friend has just emailed this story last Friday 6th May 2011.  It is a story of simple courage in the work place.  My friend often has lunch with this girl and so a relationship has been formed … she talks about her faith and as the relationship has grown an opportunity to release Heaven on Earth has come … she writes:

There is a young girl new to our office … who I have had the pleasure of getting to know.  … She mentioned that she hasn’t been well.  She has a condition called Helicobacter Pylori. Essentially it is a microaerophilic bacterium that can inhabit various areas of the stomach. It has caused a chronic low-level inflammation in her stomach lining causing a nasty toxic taste in her mouth, nausea and diarrhea. If not treated it can develop into duodenal and gastric ulcers and stomach cancer.

She has had two doses of antibiotics but the symptoms seem to come back after a couple of weeks. Well finally I simply said “we need to pray about this, do you mind if I pray for you now and lay my hand on your stomach”. “Yes please” was the reply. So as she sat in her office chair at her desk, I put my hand on her shoulder and the other one on her stomach, I thanked God for the beautiful woman she was and for bringing her into our company. I then commanded the parasites to go, and restoration of the cells in her stomach. I prayed a bit in tongues under my breath not wanting to freak her out. When I finished I asked how she felt. She said she felt like jelly and was doing her best not to fall off her chair! I explained that the Holy Spirit often has that effect on people. She also said she felt much better and the toxic taste wasn’t there as much.  At that point I had to attend to something else in the office.

Later that day I asked how things were going – alluding to work – however she was keen to share that she had felt much better all day.

Last night I heard some testimonies where people had to pray a few times before complete healing came. Also the lecturer touched on not being afraid of praying out loud in tongues. So I felt very encouraged and made the decision to pray again today & not hold back if I began to pray in tongues.

So this morning I asked how she was and she said it was still there but nowhere near as bad as it had been. I then explained that I think we need to have another prayer session, to which she was very agreeable. This time I explained that sometimes even Jesus had to pray a couple of times and also that if she hears me praying in tongues to not freak out, because it is a heavenly language I use when I speak to the Father.

Again, the same as yesterday – hand on the shoulder and hand on the stomach and not holding back praying in tongues. Again she is feeling much better, and again nearly falling off her chair! I asked her if she felt anything as I was praying, she said as soon as I put my hand on her stomach she felt warmth and the jelly feeling again. I explained that the warmth is often associated with healing and the Holy Spirit is working within her. We were both quite excited and I thanked God for her healing.

So there we go! Thank you God and yes … GOD IS GOOD!
